My friend Irina came to visit me in Monaco for 2 weeks in early October. After 2 weeks, she boarded her flight for her 16 hour trip back to Novosibirsk, Russia ~ Siberia. While neither of us was thrilled that our next meeting was months away, we agreed that planning for and looking forward to it would be enough to keep us relatively happy... We had made plans for another trip next June... As fortune would have it, a surprise opportunity arose giving Irina 5 days off in a row, so..... Paris!!!
I was able to get us a very comfy room with a view of the Tower Eiffel. Walking distance to almost everywhere you would want to go.
We had four unexpected days in Paris in the fall. Irina's first trip here, so we tried to make the most of it. We walked some 18,000 to 23,000 steps per day, rode the Metro and City buses and bought a passes to the Hop ON, Hop Off Bus! We definitely covered some ground!

We Rode to the top of The Eiffel Tower and walked back down! I didn't tell Irina that the walking down part freaked me out a bit.... Just didn't look down!
As we parted ways again and awaited our flights..... Irina sent me the last Paris picture taken of her for this trip! Until we meet again Sweetheart!
