Hong Kong
My impressions of Hong Kong are clouded by several things. I was only there for 4 days, the temperature and the humidity were in the 90's and the nights, cloudy. What I saw was an incredible quantity of People, High End Stores and Restaurants. If you know me, you know I have no problem with the last item! We had great food at every meal.
Arriving on The Silver ShadowOur Hotel The Langham, Hong Kong ~
Any food you could want ~ Even a New York Deli or Boston Steak and Seafood
And the old becomes New. Look at the facelift the old apartment is getting.
The underground walkway system is quite extensive doing away with crosswalks at most intersections.
There are many people on the sidewalks, night and day.
The shopping is either very high end or touristy.
The Hong Kong Harbor light show is more technical, more intricate than Singapore's.
This restaurant (which we visited twice) was recommended by our Concierge as "authentic." No English spoken, we were the only "round eyes" there and if the menu didn't have pictures, we would have starved!
